Both iPhone and Android let you save TikTok videos directly to your phone’s photo gallery. Here is exactly how to do it on each platform without any watermark.
For iPhone (iOS 16+)
Safari saves downloads into the Files app rather than straight to Photos, so there is one extra move step.
Method 1: Files → Photos (works on every iOS version)
- Copy the TikTok link from the TikTok app
- Open Safari and go to our downloader page
- Paste the link and click the download button on the preview card
- Tap the download icon in Safari’s address bar, or open the Files app → Downloads
- Tap and hold the video file → Share → Save Video
Method 2: From the Files app
- Complete the download as above
- Open Files → Downloads
- Tap and hold the video → Share → Save Video
Tip: On iOS, downloaded files go wherever Safari is configured to save — usually “On My iPhone → Downloads”, or iCloud Drive if you changed that setting.
For Android (10+)
Method 1: Chrome Download (Default)
- Open Chrome and go to our downloader page
- Paste the TikTok link, click Download
- Chrome saves the video to your Downloads folder
- Open Gallery or Photos app — the video is already there
Method 2: Samsung Internet
- Open Samsung Internet browser
- Use our downloader tool as above
- Video saves to your Samsung Gallery and Google Photos (if backup is on)
Method 3: WhatsApp/Telegram Share
- After downloading, open your Gallery
- Find the TikTok video
- Share it directly via WhatsApp, Telegram, or any messaging app
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| “Save Video” option does not appear | Make sure the download completed fully. Try long-pressing the video player area specifically. |
| Video not showing in Gallery | Restart your phone or clear the Gallery app cache. The file is likely saved but not indexed yet. |
| Video quality looks lower than expected | Configure your TikTok Cookie in the tool — some videos only expose their higher-quality file to logged-in requests. |
| Cannot send to Instagram from iPhone | Instagram may reject very short clips (< 3 seconds). Normal length videos work fine. |
| Download blocked by school/work network | Try using mobile data instead of WiFi, or use a VPN. |
