We respect the intellectual property rights of content creators and expect our users to do the same. This page explains how copyright holders can submit claims regarding content downloaded through our tool.
Our Position
Our tool provides technology that allows users to download publicly available videos from TikTok and Douyin platforms. We do not host, store, or distribute any video content ourselves. Video files are passed through our servers from TikTok/Douyin CDNs to the user’s browser and are never written to disk on our infrastructure.
For Copyright Holders
If you are a copyright holder and believe that content downloaded through our Service infringes on your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice to us.
What We Can Do
Since we do not host any content, we cannot remove specific videos from our platform. Download links are registered to the session that parsed them, expire within 30 minutes, and the video file itself is never retained.
What We Cannot Do
- We cannot prevent users from downloading a specific video URL unless that video is removed from TikTok/Douyin’s servers
- We do not maintain a database of downloaded content to filter against
- We do not keep a record of who downloaded what. Our request log stores a random session identifier alongside the submitted link and whether the download succeeded — no name, email, or account — and is rotated automatically (see the Privacy Policy)
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
To file a valid DMCA notice, please send an email to [email protected] with the following:
- Copyright ownership statement: A statement that you are the copyright holder or authorized representative
- Identification of the work: Description of the copyrighted work being infringed
- URLs in question: The specific TikTok or Douyin video URLs where the infringement occurs
- Contact information: Your full name, address, phone number, and email
- Good faith statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized
- Accuracy statement: A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, under penalty of perjury
- Signature: Physical or electronic signature of the copyright holder or authorized agent
Counter-Notification
If you are a user who submitted a video URL and believe your download was legitimate (e.g., you are the original creator, or the content is in the public domain), you may submit a counter-notification with the same information as above.
Repeat Infringers
While we do not maintain user accounts, we reserve the right to block access from specific IP addresses or session IDs that demonstrate a clear pattern of repeat infringing activity.
Response Time
We review all valid notices and respond within 5 business days.
